However, the ads at the bottom, show, er...well, half naked girls.

And the fact that the ad knows what city I am from just gives me the creeps.

Clearing the board

Carol Anne, I hope human being have more control over themselves than to lose themselves to the smell of a perfume. Memphis, TN

As a police officer for 22 years I can tell you that not all old ladies or men are innocent - many are used as fronts for their drug dealing family members just like kids are used. I have pulled guns and knives from baskets on walkers and wheelchairs many times. I am not saying this is the case with the 92 year old in Atlanta (although they did say the cops bought drugs from the house prior to the warrant being issued) but I can tell you if someone fired a gun at me - and hit me as many times as she hit those officers - I, too, would return fire and not think twice about her age. Several years ago 2 deputies stopped to assist an elderly man in his 80s who had gone off into a ditch in his car. They did not bother to pat him down - he was old after all - and while he was riding in the back of their squad car he pulled a gun and shot them both in the head - killing them. He was senile according to his family and thought they were taking him to jail instead of to the gas station...from then on I can guarantee you I would pat down a corpse before I would assume they were unarmed - no matter how old or sweet they seemed.

Clearing the board

Answer to trivia: Tetris :D

Clearing the board

I have a solution for the rope puzzle. In fact, here's a recording of the same game: http://www.gametheater.org/detail.php?video=216

We call them "tool assisted" recordings, and to some it is an art form, since its goal is "god-like" gameplay. For more info on tool-assisted recordings check out what Wikipedia has to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tool-assisted_speedruns

Clearing the board

Ok. Light both ends of one rope. When the rope is entirely consumed, 30 minutes will have elapsed.

At the same time you light both ends of the first rope, light one end of the other rope. When the first rope is entirely consumed. the second rope will have 1/2 hour left to go.

At that point, light the other end of the second rope. It will be completely consumed in 15 more minutes. 30+15 = 45.
