While I think this issue is blown out of proportion don't the 911 responders identify themselves by name? That might explain her use of the familliar "Mike" rather than indicate a history of her abusing the 911 service.

This sounds like a truncated clip but regardless of that the caller was very fast to use the "I'm going to file a formal complaint" line.

Who calls 911 over an unruly 12 yr old child unless there is a serious history of violence/mental disturbance? And wouldn't there be an indication of that before it reached the "I need a police officer" point?

There's not a lot to go on but this reminds me of the person who called 911 because of a service dispute at a McDonalds drive through.

On a different note... can anyone explain to me how the authorities in charge of Homeland Security and the War on Terror (including and especially our Presidential administration) plan to stop the detonation of a WMD (nuclear or dirty bomb, biological, chemical) in this country when we can't stop the importation of Tons of illegal drugs that are coming in on a Daily basis? Also, why do the same terror groups we're fighting use car bombs everywhere else in the world but they have to commandeer passeger planes to attack the US (which is significantly harder than orchestrating a large scale car bomb assault; especially when illegals from South of the border can buy a new or used car all day long!)? I'd just like to know.
