It does indeed teach about how far campaigns have come in the last 35 years. The national re-election headquarters for a major party in 1972 consisted of two offices and a common area smaller than what my insurance agent has today! &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I can not believe that anyone thought Rove was going to reach young people. Even for the times, he looked like a nerd.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;On a more serious note, I wonder how Rather sounded to the average viewer when he was talking about your name being on a list because you bought a washcloth.
