Only today have I seen the images of people falling/jumping. I avoided it on purpose from day one and sadly saw it all today.

I saw one of a person covering their eyes as they fell and I was struck, dumbfounded. That person had a family and was doing exactly what I imagine I would do under the same circumstances. Jump and hide my eyes. Knowing that I would never be there for them again.

In the past 5 years I focused mainly on the details of it all and not the human aspect. I'm wiping my eyes as I type this.

There are things one wishes to "unsee".

C Noctem, yes, when the page loads all the way, the featured image is of Spock and Kirk laying flowers on the American flag in front of the destroyed World Trade Center. Here's the big version in case it's not showing up that way on your machine.

I think it's a big disgrace for it still not done and how it makes us look when you still see that big hole in the ground.I wish Grandpa our Pres. would start taking care of home first before sending help elsewhere.(Grandpa from the Munsters)I'm tried of all the lies he is constantly telling us,aren't you.

I got up early for a morning run the day following the 9/11 attacks. The image that will always remain with me was that of the crescent moon against the dark sky, closely accompanied by a bright star or planet. I seemed to remember that many Islamic countries incorporate this image into their flags or religeous emblems. I always thought that someone, other than myself would have noticed, and reported on, the timing of this celestial event. Could it be that this event, and the timimg of the attacks were intentional?

It looks to me like S. 2590 passed shortly after Stevens attempted to replace his hold. Sounds like there was a short conversation in the Rep. Cloakroom.
