At work, we use web-based CAD (Computer Aided-Dispatch) software that will only work on IE6 (Hey, I didn't design it...). I think the first people to 'break' the Aleksey Vayner 'story' were the guys over at the IvyGate blog (http://www.ivygateblog.com/).

Some pretty funny stuff over there! Including the infamous video that everyone is talking about.

Keep up the good work!

Empty cube syndrome

YouTube and Google have taken the video down, but you can still find it at http://www.veoh.com/videoDetails.html?v=e1336748NgyMqyG

Empty cube syndrome

I don't get the LED rat thingie - help!

Empty cube syndrome

Deb, there's nothing to get really. It's like the chicken crossing the road joke. I thought they were going to be instructions on actually constructing something, but when the first step is to hollow out a rat... blah!!! LOL!!

Actually, if there's anything to get it's that there already is something called an LED Throwie. It's an LED, a battery, and a magnet.

But the subsequent debate exploring connections between rat taxidermy and terrorism? HILARIOUS!

(Unless someone straps bombs onto the rats; that wouldn't be funny at all...)
